Denver, CO - Andrew Leifheit, PE, Steve Salazar, PE, and Scott Waterman, PE, have been named Associate Vice Presidents at Wilson & Company, Inc., Engineers & Architects.

Andy is located in Denver, and is focused on developing clients in the rail, energy, and heavy/light industrial markets as well as managing railroad engineering, inspection, and construction management staff. He has been successful at leading large-scale multi-discipline projects from concept to construction across the United States. Andy joined Wilson & Company in 2007 and has 17 years of experience, a Master of Science (Civil Engineering) from the University of Colorado, and a Bachelor of Science (Civil Engineering) from Colorado State University. He is a licensed professional engineer in Arkansas, California, Colorado, Kansas, Missouri, New Mexico, New York, Pennsylvania, Texas, Utah, and Washington. He is a licensed structural engineer in Alaska and Illinois. He is a
member of the American Railway Engineering and Maintenance-of-Way Association (AREMA).

Steve’s expertise spans over 18 years, all with Wilson & Company in New Mexico and Colorado. He is the Northwest Service Unit Manager in Denver and has developed clients in municipal markets in CO, KS, and UT. He has experience in drainage and stormwater analysis and design, development services, water resources, municipal engineering, and transportation engineering. He has a Bachelor of Science (Civil Engineering) from New Mexico State University, and is a licensed professional engineer in Colorado, New Mexico, Arizona, Utah, Nebraska, and Kansas. He is an active member in Urban Land Institute (ULI), American Public Works Association (APWA), American Council of Engineering Companies (ACEC), and North American Society for Trenchless Technology (NASTT).

Scott is the Transportation West Service Unit Manager in Denver and has 25 years of experience in transportation engineering projects for private, municipal, county, and state clients. His design and management experience includes major highways, freeways, interchanges, arterials, and collector streets, and he has proven experience in conceptual design, preliminary and final design, and development of construction documents, contract administration, and construction observation. He has been with Wilson & Company for 13 years, and has a Master of Business Administration and a Bachelor of Science (Civil Engineering) from Colorado State University. He is a licensed professional engineer in Colorado, and is a member of the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE).
